Amaía Diez explores painting, photography, and video in a multidisciplinary practice, with a conceptual and abstract approach, and a subtle language. Her work is a personal exploration of self and, specifically, the relationship between the subconscious mind and the body. Her emphasis on an intuitive artistic process is the starting point for reflecting about our internal dimension, inhabiting a body, and the tension between internal and external reality.
